Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy (“Policy”) governs the delivery of goods purchased from Bhutan Machinery Enterprise (“BME,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By placing an order with BME, the customer (“you”) agrees to the terms set forth herein.

1. Scope of Service

BME facilitates the supply and delivery of machinery, equipment, and related goods strictly within the Kingdom of Bhutan. Orders are placed via the contact details provided on our website (email or WhatsApp). The website itself does not process transactions and serves for informational purposes only.

2. Order Placement and Payment

All orders must be initiated through email or WhatsApp using the contact information listed on our “Contact Us” page. Payments are handled externally and may be made via cash, bank transfer, SWIFT transfer, or RTGS as available in Bhutan. No payments are processed directly through our website.

3. Shipping Methods

We utilize a combination of delivery methods depending on the nature of the goods and the customer’s location. Deliveries may be carried out by:

  • Bhutan Post

  • Third-party courier services

  • Direct in-store pickup by customers

Where third-party courier services are engaged, additional charges may apply as detailed in Section 5.

4. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery timelines are contingent upon market availability of the requested items. We will provide an estimated delivery schedule upon receipt of your inquiry and confirmation of product availability. BME does not guarantee delivery dates unless expressly stated in writing.

5. Shipping Fees

BME does not generally impose separate shipping fees. However, in cases where third-party courier services or special transport arrangements are required, any additional costs will be communicated to you prior to shipment and may not be reflected in the initial product price

7. Risk of Loss and Inspection

Title and risk of loss shall pass to the customer upon delivery to the agreed destination or upon collection from our premises. Customers are advised to inspect goods upon receipt and promptly notify BME of any discrepancies or damage.

8. Damaged or Missing Goods

BME shall, at its discretion, replace or compensate for goods that are grossly damaged to the point of being non-functional or for shipments confirmed as missing. Claims for replacement must be made within a reasonable period following delivery and supported by evidence of the defect or loss.
